Rutherford Carrville EA

York Region has identified future transportation needs along the Rutherford Road / Carrville Road corridor between Jane Street and Yonge Street, in the City of Vaughan and the Town of Richmond Hill, to accommodate business and population growth.

The Rutherford Road/ Carrville Road EA will examine the need for transportation improvements in this corridor, explore alternatives and evaluate potential impacts on the natural and social environment.

The study is being undertaken as a Schedule ‘C’ project, in accordance with the Municipal Engineers Association, Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (October 2000, as amended in 2007).
